✓Established The trunk is the court record: the Kirk mask “is based on a foam master owned by Don Post Studios of Shatner’s head,” and in 1985 “the same foam master” went to Neil Surges for the sculpt that became Don Post’s “The Mask.”1 Cinema Secrets’ 1999 mask was made from pictures and a videotape of the film, not from any mold.1 Trick or Treat Studios’ 2017 Kirk was re-sculpted by Justin Mabry from the 1975 release.2 The 2018 film’s mask is a new sculpt.3
